Travel fees depend entirely on where we are during the year when your event is scheduled.
This is determined on a case-by-case basis, but we always stay fair and don’t price gouge here or anywhere.
We’ll give you a solid quote before drawing up the contract.
How Pricing Works
When you ask me to be your photographer, you’re not hiring a camera. I hear it often, the praise attributed to the gear a photographer holds. But for me, that’s really only the smallest part of the story of creating an image.
I bring ten years of experience gained in the field to every shoot I attend, using those intuitive training moments to know what a room feels like in the moments before something photo-worthy happens. I trained under some of the best photographers in DFW and Austin and worked my way up through associate shooting to be my own Lead Photographer.
For couples who've spent time in spaces that didn't quite fit, like my queer couples, BIPOC couples, disabled couples (anyone who's navigated a vendor meeting while trying to also manage that vendor's discomfort), the experience on the day is everything.
Here's what that day with me looks like in practice:
Pre-wedding conversations that go past logistics into what actually matters to you — your family dynamics, your priorities, what you want and what you're actively avoiding — and a timeline built around what your celebration or session looks like.
Uplifting, watchful presence that reads the day as it unfolds to step in unnoticed and step back when needed. No sudden questions, no visible confusion, no energy that puts the burden back on you when things shift.
Editing that sees everyone in the room correctly. Your skin tones rendered with intention. The light around you treated as sacred, because it is! Your mood preserved, instead of being overwritten by a preset.
Documentation of what's actually happening — which requires patience and instinct, not a shot list. The images that will mean the most to you are almost never the ones you would have thought to request.
You shouldn’t need to worry about whether you’re going to be misgendered or if your photographer respects your cultural traditions on your big day.

Talk to Henry to see if we can create a custom package that fits both our needs. Worth a try, right? I’d love to hear what you have in mind.
We take on a very limited count of projects per year on a reduced fee basis to members of the disability, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ communities.
-
Of course we do payment plans! Weddings shouldn’t be something you need to take out a loan for.
Contact our resident money guy, Henry. He’ll get you set up right.
-
Your wedding date is not reserved until a contract is signed and your non-refundable retainer fee is paid. This is industry-standard.
Retainer fees are 50% of the total package price, but contact us if you really want to reserve your date and want to make a different arrangement.
