Our Team
Kelsey Elliot (they/them)
photographer/owner
I’m the photographer! I have been shooting my entire life practically, more seriously for around 17 years now. I’m proud of the signature style I’ve created over the years. My friends and family know to reach out when they have a milestone coming up because I love to be there behind the lens.
In my day to day life, I work in the mental health field as a Peer Navigator for with people with PTSD. I study Psychology and Public Health at Utah Valley University. After many years of work, I plan to enter the Counseling Psychology Ph.D. program at University of Northern Colorado in August 2026! Photography is my form of creative expression to balance all the heavier things I study on a daily basis.
Henry and I love to bake everything bagels, watch reality television, play with our dog in the backyard, go for coffee, and take road trips back home to Colorado. I’m a Southern transplant, originally from Arkansas, and while people are always surprised I don’t have an accent, I hope my Southern hospitality shines through in everything I do.

Husband/assistant
Henry is my all-around assistant and the best husband a person could ask for. He holds the camera bag, pulls out the right lenses, and drives us to locations. He also runs all the admin behind the scenes! I’m incredibly lucky to have a man like him to help run the business. You’ll probably email back and forth with him!
He used to work for the United States Forest Service as a trail crew lead. He still spends any time he can out in the forest, communing with nature and climbing peaks. He is funny, friendly, and a great conversationalist. He can make small talk with anyone and I know he’ll put you at ease right away. He helps introverts like me feel so comfortable. That’s why we love him!
He is an avid hiker, rock climber, baker, and volunteer during his time off, with a particular interest in food justice. The two of us are Court-Appointed Special Advocates for abused/neglected foster children in our spare time.
Things We Love:
That first cup of coffee (or matcha) before an early morning road trip to a national park
Volunteering for causes we believe in, like child abuse and neglect prevention and LGBTQ+ healthcare access
Spending time wandering the library and learning something new via book or podcast
Small, intentional gatherings of all kinds where people feel heard
We'll Get along if…
You prefer your interactions to be down-to-earth and feel more like friends than influencers or people in a business deal
You believe everyone deserves the right to be healthy, happy, and free of discrimination and oppression, regardless of race or orientation
You’re a kind and direct communicator that shares your vision and trusts the process (because we want you to be happy with your photos just as much as you do!)
Here we are, getting married at our favorite pizza restaurant here in Salt Lake City, Slackwater! With less than a month’s notice to get married for health insurance, we registered a close friend with Salt Lake County and they performed the ceremony while we and 4 of our closest friends waited for our pizza to arrive. We hope this gives you a bit of insight into who we are as a couple and a team; we don’t take ourselves too seriously and value the meaning over the style. Love feels so tangible at intimate celebrations like this, and these events are our favorite to shoot. <3
